Sporting a dark green coat with a gold shamrock-shaped brooch, the 30-year-old beauty handed out sprigs of shamrocks to members of the 1st Battalion Irish Guards - including their canine mascot, an Irish wolfhound - during the St. Patrick's Day parade in Aldershot, England.

The Duchess later sipped sherry with the Guards in the mess hall.

The traditional presentation of shamrocks to the soldiers dates back to the early 1900s and used to be performed by the Queen Mother (Prince William's great-grandmother) prior to her death in 2002. The tradition was then carried out by Princess Anne, and will now be performed by Kate. (

Environmental group wants frog juice drinker Park Ji-sung to help protect the frogs

Environmental group wants frog juice drinker Park Ji-sung to help protect the frogs - Though it won't come right out and say it, South Korean environmental group "Frogs Friends" seems to blame Manchester United midfielder and former South Korean national team captain Park Ji-sung for the increasing threat to frogs in his country.

Park Ji-sung, enemy of frogs

In 2006, Park wrote in his autobiography that his father would give him frog juice to boost his stamina on the pitch. And now, the frogs are being hunted for their juice at an alarming rate, prompting Frogs Friends to ask the footballer to denounce the beverage.

From Reuters:

"I do not know if it is just coincidence but after it was revealed… that Park eats frogs as a means to boost his strength, the number of cases of illegal poaching of frogs and toads residing in mountains has increased," campaign organiser Park Wan-hee was quoted as saying by Yonhap News Agency on Monday.

Since its establishment in 2007, Frog's Friends has been campaigning to stop Koreans killing amphibians for perceived health properties.

Your move, Park. The fate of South Korean frogs is in your hands. (  Dirty Tackle )

How to remove your Google Web Data History

How to remove your Google Web Data History - Do you know if Google is tracking your Web activity? If you have a Google account (for, say, Gmail) and have not specifically located and paused the Web History setting, then the search giant is keeping track of your searches and the sites you visited. This data has been separated from other Google products, but on March 1 it will be shared across all of the Google products you use when Google's new privacy policy goes into effect.

http://cdn3.digitaltrends.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/google-web-history.jpg

If you'd like to prevent Google from combining this potentially sensitive data with the information it has collected from your YouTube, Google+, and other Google accounts, you can remove your Web History and stop it from being recorded moving forward.
Google :

After signing into your Google account, type https://www.google.com/history into your browser. (Alternatively, you can choose Account Settings from the pull-down menu in the upper-right corner of a Google product such as Gmail, Google+, or Google.com. From the Account Settings page, scroll down to the Services header and click on the "Go to web history" link.) If your Web History is enabled, you'll see a list of recent searches and sites visited. Click the gray Remove all Web History button at the top of the page and a subsequent OK button to clear your Web History.

Just the way I like it, empty and paused.

This action also pauses the Web History feature so that it will no longer track your Web searches and whereabouts. If you'd like to fire it back up, simply click the blue Resume button. ( eff,org )

Rochester-based Kodak filed for bankruptcy protection Jan. 19 after years of turnaround efforts.

CIM claims Kodak already has reaped publicity from this year's Oscars on Feb. 26. They argue the sponsorship should remain in place at least until the end of 2012 to give them time to find a new sponsor. ( kansascity )
